The FinWell® Summit 2026 is Europe's leading Financial Wellbeing conference, organised by House of Finance & Tech Berlin (HoFT), Germany's official Fintech de:hub and Europe's Financial Wellbeing Ecosystem with 80+ member organisations. For one day, decision-makers from banks, asset managers, fintechs, regulators and research discuss how Financial Wellbeing turns into measurable business value.
The summit takes place on Wednesday, 2 December 2026, at Backfabrik Berlin on the Main Stage Clinker. Registration opens at 08:15 and the programme starts at 09:00. The day ends with the FinWell® Wealth Award ceremony and winter networking. All sessions are held in English.
The summit is built for senior professionals who influence financial outcomes: banks that measure customer outcomes, employers and company pension (bAV) decision-makers preparing for the opt-out model, fintechs building advisory and wellbeing products, regulators and legal counsel working on the EU Retail Investment Strategy (RIS) and BRSG II, and product teams working on nudging, AI advisory and debt prevention.
The day opens with a HoFT data release, the FinWell® Monitor 2026, followed by four panels, three keynotes and six 60-minute masterclasses. Panel topics include whether banks earn more when customers are financially healthier, Financial Advisory 2.0 with AI, the shift from savers to investors ahead of the Altersvorsorgedepot, and how to reach Gen Z through behavioural design.
The German Financial Wellbeing Score is HoFT's measure of how financially healthy people in Germany feel, based on the CFPB Financial Well-Being Scale methodology. The new score is released at 09:30 as part of the FinWell® Monitor 2026, and summit attendees see the results before anyone else.
The FinWell® Summit 2026 takes place at Backfabrik Berlin, a former industrial bakery from 1912 turned loft campus at Saarbrücker Straße 36–38 in Prenzlauer Berg, close to Alexanderplatz. Keynotes and panels run on the Main Stage Clinker. The masterclasses and networking take place in the HoFT space, the home of House of Finance & Tech Berlin in the same building, so all sessions are just a few steps apart.
Early Bird tickets cost €250 until 12 October 2026, then €350 until 1 November and €450 until 1 December 2026. HoFT members attend free of charge and receive a personal invitation. Registration runs via Luma at luma.com/FinWell-Summit-2026.
Partners and sponsors can present their brand through a panel seat, keynote or masterclass and connect with senior decision-makers from 80+ organisations. Sponsors and speakers are also invited to the Speaker & Sponsor Dinner on 1 December. Contact summit@hoft.berlin.
